U Market is the primary purchasing tool for the University of Minnesota. Co-managed with Purchasing Services, it is an online platform for staff and faculty to order the supplies they need.

U Market has more than 40 specifically chosen suppliers and millions of items, such as office supplies, lab equipment and university apparel. If you need it, it’s on U Market!

The software is integrated with the University’s financial system (EFS) so ordering and checkout is as seamless as possible. Plus, due to the high volume or orders, we are able to negotiate discounted prices on nearly all items. While U Market is the primary shopping tool for the University, U Market Services is the department that manages the entire supply chain experience. From receiving products and delivering items to resolving customer issues, we are involved every step of the way.
